Science Gallery London is a part of an international network that connects universities, science, and art to foster creativity and discovery. With eight galleries worldwide, Science Gallery London engages visitors through exhibitions and live research, inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers.

Housed in the historic Boland House, Science Gallery London combines science, art, and technology in its program. The gallery’s design respects the listed building while incorporating contemporary architectural elements. A prominent entrance, featuring a large glazed opening, invites visitors inside.

Inside, the gallery spaces are open and flexible, accommodating different exhibitions and events. The ground floor doubles as a cafe and shop during the day and transforms into an events space at night. The project also includes a lecture theater, event facilities, and a restored Georgian Courtyard for cultural and academic events.

Science Gallery London combines the innovation of the Global Science Gallery Network with the research strengths of King’s College. It serves as a dynamic space for researchers, students, the local community, and artists to explore the intersection of science and art. This sensitive refurbishment of Boland House has contributed significantly to the cultural landscape of the London Bridge area.

The building features galleries, a theatre, event spaces, a cafe, and a shop. LTS won the commission through a competition and completed all stages of work. Science Gallery London opened in 2018 and was recognized as the best refurbishment project at the 2019 AJ Architecture Awards.
