James Watts BA(Hons) MA
James joined LTS in 2018 after completing an MA in Interior Design at the Royal College of Art, where he was able to develop his interests in sustainability, circularity and the responsible use of materials. His thesis was focused on plastic and was a finalist in the Helen Hamlyn Design Awards.
He enjoys writing, and particularly writing critically about consumerism and the domestic environment. His MA dissertation explored the potential of creative writing as place-making, with extracts published in Edition #3 of the journal So Fi Zine. He hopes to bring together his interests in domesticity, sustainability and materials through design practice.
Outside of the office James enjoys sending time with friends and family, books, food and occasionally surfing.
