Architect

Sam completed his Part II RIBA masters degree from Manchester School of Architecture in 2013, where he was recognised for his dissertation ‘Security and Wellbeing in the Urban Residential Environment’ – a body of research which would go on to inform his thesis project.

Shortly after graduating he relocated to London to work for a long-established architectural firm, where he gained valuable experience working on number of large-scale projects in the commercial, residential and hospitality sectors. During this time Sam continued his architectural education, gaining his RIBA Part III and qualifying as an Architect in 2015.

Sam has been involved in a number of ongoing and completed projects, including the refurbishment of a Grade II list Palladian Manor House, to designing theleisure facilities at a luxury 5* Hotel. Sam’s particular interests lie in building technology and the fusion of the old with the new.

Outside of work Sam continues to pursue a lifelong passion for surfing, a hobby which has seen him travel the globe in search of perfect waves.
