Helenslea Avenue occupies the site of the former Swaminarayan Hindu Temple whose replacement we designed on a nearby site.

The 24-unit scheme provides a mix of large 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom apartments with flexible dual-aspect layouts and generous balconies. Porcelain floors feature throughout and high-quality detailing, including bronze finishes, gives the scheme a modern edge.

The design, though contemporary, respects the existing residential context through a mix of façade rhythm, eaves and roof heights combined with a palette of materials that reflect and echo the surrounding houses.

The apartments have been designed to minimise environmental impact, meeting the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, while significantly reducing energy consumption for residents.
