Sophie Bowerman BSc MArch PgDip RIBA
Senior Architect
Sophie joined LTS in early 2023 as a Senior Architect. She has over 7 years of extensive experience working across the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors on projects of a wide-ranging scale.
Sophie studied at the Welsh School of Architecture and with RIBA, qualifying as an Architect in 2019. She has been involved with many London-based projects, which included landmark mixed-use towers, masterplan redevelopments and hotel schemes within listed buildings.
She is highly experienced in the design and delivery of projects on heavily constrained sites across London and throughout the UK, balancing the intricacies of programme, cost and design, alongside evolving briefs.
Sophie has a passion for innovative reuse and the role Architecture can have on public interaction and she has led several projects transforming some of London’s disused heritage sites into new cultural offerings, working closely with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure a positive contribution back to the City.
Outside of the office Sophie is found exploring the countryside and coast paths, following her passion for trail running and ultra-marathons. Closer to home she regularly volunteers with some of London’s small city farms, keen to keep in touch with nature and engage with local community groups.
